Privacy Notice
Tidal Links: last update on 8th September 2026.
Tidal Links is a company registered in Scotland (number SC660915) at 4 Wylie Court, Stewarton, KA3 5FA. We are the data controller for the personal data described here, and we are registered with the ICO under number ???
What we collect and why:
If you enquire or request a quote as a business - we collect your name, job title, employer, email address and phone number, and whatever you tell us in your message. We use it to respond to you and to keep a record of the account in our CRM. Our basis for this is our legitimate interest in dealing with people who approach us and in running the business properly.
If you buy from us as a customer - we collect your name, email address, phone number, billing and delivery addresses and your order details. We use this to take the order, fulfil it and handle any return. Our basis is performance of our contract with you. Payment is taken by our payment provider - we see that a payment succeeded, but we do not receive or store your full card details.
If you send us artwork or a logo - we keep the files and the specification so we can produce and re-produce your order accurately.
If you subscribe to our mailing list - name and email address, used to send you what you signed up to receive.
When you visit the website - IP address, browser and device type, pages viewed and referring page, collected through cookies. See "Cookies" below.
We also keep invoices, order records and customs documentation because the law requires us to. We do not collect special category data (health, ethnicity, beliefs and so on), and our products are not marketed to children.
Marketing
If you are contacted at a limited company or LLP, we may send you marketing about products relevant to your role without asking first, as UK rules permit for corporate subscribers. Every message identifies us and lets you stop it in one click.
If you are a consumer, a sole trader or a partnership, we only email you where you have agreed, or where you have bought from us, we are marketing similar products, and you were offered an opt-out at the time and in every message since.
You can opt out at any time using the link in any message, or by emailing us. Opting out does not stop messages about an order you have placed.
Who we share it with:
We share personal data with:

Sending data outside the UK:
We sell into and work with partners in Ireland, Norway, Canada, the United States, South Africa, the UAE, Australia and New Zealand, and some of our providers process data outside the UK. Where we transfer data abroad we rely on UK adequacy regulations, the UK International Data Transfer Agreement or Addendum, or the UK Extension to the EU-US Data Privacy Framework. Ask us and we will explain the safeguards for any specific transfer.

Your rights:
You can ask us to give you a copy of your data, correct it, delete it, restrict how we use it, or send it to you in a printable format. You can object to any processing we base on your legitimate interests, and you can object to direct marketing at any time with no exceptions. Where we rely on your consent, you can withdraw it.
